Our Story

The owners, Dea and René van Leeuwen, both Dutch, live already more than 33 years on Lanzarote first started as owners of a well known divecenter (which we sold in 2005) and now as owners of "Sea Fun Lanzarote" a nautical excursion company. They know all the in and out and can tell you all about the different excursions and places you must visit. They own more apartement and we have been renting them out since 1994 this guarantees a good and quality service.

Lobke-Juanita van Leeuwen is born on Lanzarote and here education was on the local Spanish schools. She is now in the second year of the university of tourism. Gaining an professional level knowledge & understanding of the dynamics of the tourism industry this is a multi-disciplinary study providing a platform for the development of critical perspectives on the nature of tourism as a social phenomenon. Together with her parents, they ensure that guests fully enjoying themselves during their stay.

Puerto del Carmen
A popular seaside resort on the southern coast of Lanzarote in Spain’s Canary Islands. The town is edged by excellent beaches, Among the most popular, Playa Grande Beach offers lifeguards, changing areas with showers, toilets, parasols. a lengthy promenade, offering restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. In the old town harbour, (only 7 minutes walk from the villa) are fishing boats jostle for attention with yachts and smaller pleasure crafts. A little inland from the coast is the Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park, a popular zoo. Restaurants in Puerto del Carmen offer a range of delicious cuisine including the traditional local dishes and more international fare.

Sport plays a big part in Lanzarote life,
The biggest contributor is the weather, of course! With guaranteed good weather all year round, there are no concerns about booking a week or two to enjoy outdoor pursuits, and these days the island has some top sports facilities, with state of the art gyms, a running track and miles and miles of trails for running and mountain biking. For road cyclists, we have smooth tarmac, low traffic levels, and some really challenging climbs from sea level to over 600 metres. As well as the thousands of amateurs who come here to enjoy sport, we host many professional athletes and teams who come here to train. You can enjoy pretty much any sport here
